Which DNA files work?
23andMe, AncestryDNA, MyHeritage, FamilyTreeDNA, Living DNA and most other raw data exports — the .txt or .zip file you download from them. If your file cannot be read, you are not charged.
I have not done a DNA test. Can I still use this?
Not yet — you need raw data from a testing service first. Any of the big three works, and we do not sell kits or earn anything from them. Ask us for the export instructions and we will send them, so you know exactly what to download when your results arrive.
Is this medical advice?
No. Rescript Genetics is a wellness education service, not a medical practice. Your report is educational and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Share it with your own physician or pharmacist before you start anything new, especially if you take medications.
What happens to my DNA file?
It is read in memory to build your report and is never written to disk. The report itself is kept for 21 days so you can come back to it, you can extend that whenever you like, and you can delete it sooner. We do not sell data, and we do not share it with anyone but you.
How long does it take?
Minutes, not weeks. You upload the file you already have, the analysis runs while you watch, and your report opens in the app. A copy lands in your inbox as a PDF.
Do I have to buy supplements?
No. The $40 report stands on its own and it is yours to keep. If you want the protocol as a cart, a licensed practitioner reviews it first and it opens in Fullscript with your discount applied — but plenty of people take the report to their own practitioner instead.
Who reviews my protocol?
A licensed practitioner, before anything reaches you. Nothing is orderable until that review is done — that gate does not move.
Can I share the report with my doctor?
Yes, and it is built for that. The PDF includes your pathway map, every supportive range, and a section of questions worth asking your pharmacist or physician.
